Outback Rodeos Inc. was formed in 2021 by a group of Goldfields rodeo enthusiasts to assist local shires in delivering rodeo events to remote regional area of WA.
Our mission is to enhance and enrich the greater Goldfields community by supporting culture, education, local history and heritage through an annual event.
Outback Rodeos Mission Statement
We will produce sustainable annual events that;
Can be identified on a state and national calendar & exceed expectations
Consciously gives back to community
Utilises local Goldfields businesses as much as reasonably possible
Encourages cultural diversity and inclusion
Provides a tourism increasing product to the Goldfields Region
Allows people to gain an understanding & appreciation of outback Western Australia through rodeos
Our Objective - Coolgardie Rodeo & Outback FEstival
Attract at least 3,500 people to this biannual event from within the Goldfields and from intrastate.
Encourage people to stay an average of 1-2 nights in the Coolgardie Shire and therefore, increased economic benefit to the community.
Foster community spirit and pride and provide employment or volunteering opportunities for residents.
Showcase the talents of the children of the Goldfields regions by creating art & craftwork to be displayed at the event.
Create a greater knowledge of the Tourism experience of Coolgardie, Kambalda, Cave Hill, Wallaroo Rocks, Queen Victoria Rocks, Rowles Lagoon and other significant sites in the Coolgardie Shire.
To provide a family friendly environment and be inclusive of all walks of life whilst educating and entertaining
Our events are held in association with the Australian Bushmans Campdraft and Rodeo Association Ltd. (ABCRA) The ABCRA conducts a point scoring system to determine National Champions and has over 4000 members and 180 affiliated committees throughout the country.
