FREE CAMPING FAQ'S
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE CAMPING GROUND?
Sorry NO BYO ALCOHOL to camping area.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. Although we love dogs, there is the risk of them eating 1080 baits which are throughout the Shire of Coolgardie to stop feral dogs. Guide dogs are accepted.
ARE YOU ALLOWED TO HAVE A FIRE AND BRING YOUR OWN WOOD TO THE RODEO CAMPING AREA?
Yes, but all fires must be contained in a drum no bigger than half a 44 gallon drum. Please consider the safety of yourself and others. All wood must be under 60cm in width and length. All excessive wood will be confiscated.
CAN I SAVE SPACES FOR MY MATES IN THE UTE PADDOCK / CAMPING AREAS?
As you would understand due to the huge amount of Utes in the Ute paddock it is logistically very difficult to control. We cannot guarantee that you can save a space for your mates. You will have more of a chance if you all drive in together.
If you are keen to organise 20 or more Utes for your Ute club or convoy, to camp please email Bodean Buckingham at howdy@outbackrodeos.com.
